Adventures galore

Explore

The Old Sheep Farm cottages, in Snowdonia National Park, are uniquely situated between the mountains and the sea. Look north, and you are gazing across some of North Wales' finest wide sandy beaches towards Anglesey and Puffin Island. Turn south,  and you are looking directly into the wild, open land of the Carneddau Mountains, where wild ponies roam amongst the gorse and heather.

We are within easy reach of a huge variety of places to visit. Marvel at the ancient walls of Conwy Castle, a World Heritage Site. Promenade down the wide avenues of Llandudno, for some Victorian elegant seaside charm. Enjoy a boat trip down the Menai Strait, where dolphins and puffins can be spotted.

Adrenaline junkies can get their fix high above ground at Zip World, or deep underground at Bounce, one of the world's only underground trampoline experience. Keen hikers and mountain bikers will enjoy exploring Snowdonia straight from the Old Sheep Farm. Those who prefer a more genteel experience might want to visit the stunning Bodnant Gardens before stopping off at Bodnant Food Centre for some local and artisan treats. For the hungry, there are a number of award winning cafes and restaurants to be sampled.

A scrapbook of our personal recommendations can be found in each cottage - please let us know what you think!
