Welcome to the Old Sheep Farm! I'm Lara, and in this blog, I write about our journey making our home in an old Welsh farmhouse on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, I share glimpses of our family life, little adventures, and projects, as we settle in to rural life and get ready to start our holiday cottage business. You'll find us gardening and having picnics in the orchard in the summer, and gathered round the Aga, baking cakes and weathering storms in the winter...and chasing sheep out of our garden all year round! 

 

Along with my husband Rich, our little daughters Willow and Robin and my beloved but dreadfully naughty dog, The Pig, I want to share with you our little slice of heaven.
